I figured out where the pieces went, now its assembled. On to diagnostic, the parts are on order, the magazine chingaderas is in time, everything is going good. The two panels that are missing are elusive, they are something thats going to take time to source.

Everything else is in excellent condition, for a jukebox with a lot of miles on it. I've been replacing lights, burned out motors from age, old plastic that's fugly. Seems that who ever owned it ran it until it quit, no maintenance was performed on it for a really long time.

Hi Walz, You do not need the L/R "record guides" unless you are using (45 rpm) records ! They were eliminated on the CD's. As for the amp housing--I have no more left--went to the junkyard years ago-- check with suppliers listed in the FAQ's section above-- Just curious--this is the first phono you have done--correct--If so, how can you judge it's condition against other machines ? Ron Rich Great, no record guide, it was on the diagram so I was just following what it said. I've got a great source of parts from a guy who was referred by your FAQ. In Alaska, where I live, finding anything up here is difficult, my 1979 Bally slot machine I waited years for, was in disrepair to say the least, the only way you can get anything is if the owner dies and the family liquidated his stuff. Case in point a owner of a Atlas drill press died, and the family sold the drill for a song, I've been looking for a Atlas floor drill press for a long time, I have the table one. Fast forward to my last item I've been looking for, a Jukebox made in the USA, when this jukebox came up for sale, I snatched it up, jukeboxes are hard to find in Alaska, a barn find is impossible, however this one landed in my lap and after cleaning the whole thing inside and out, it looks excellent, you cant find any dust, dirt, crud, everything is super clean. The issues are nominal, years of neglect without maintenance took its toll, I've replaced all the bulbs, now they are working. The spinning display grounded to a hault, the motor died, the plastic lenses for the lights were melted from heat. The door panel had two broken glass plates that I've replaced. As for the electronics; everything works now, except for the magazine computer, and the CD unit. Both are sourced and shipped now. I have confidence that this jukebox will operate again and its not going to be that expensive.

The magazine was the worst part, surface rust was on the magazine, cleaning was really important, getting the parts to operate smoothly, was my goal and it worked. I took the magazine completely apart cleaning every part by hand.

To me, a Rowe Jukebox is a prize, made in the USA, electronic parts are easily sourced, when I have everything for the jukebox, maintainable will be easy, no major problems, and I will stock up on parts. As you can see the surface rust needed to be eliminated.

The CDM12 is worn out so I sourced another part, a CD-PRO, they are interchangeable, and I'm going to service this one getting it up and running. The CD-PRO appears to be in excellent condition. As I say if it's broken, I can professionally repair it.

Walz, Hate to tell you this-- but that looks like very 'light dirt" to me ! Hopefully your source is reliable--CD players are woefully poor in design--were never intended for constant duty--fail often and new parts, are NLA. I once installed 19, NEW, CDM-PRO, players in one new jukebox in a month, before getting one to run 90 days-- Ron Rich

I'm a neat freak, its got to be clean. From experience I know pc boards have to be clean also, I'm really careful about the PC boards, I've worked with them before and I am versed on them. I'm going to rebuild the CD-PRO player, I have parts coming in to get it running. I'm also going to rebuild the original CDM 12 one also. So I will have two on hand. Did you check and see if you had the panels for the CD-100?
