Hi Dan, You well maybe correct about the supply for that solenoid--like I said--going from my "rusty memory"-- I do believe the operation of that solenoid is as you state--I believe upon credit being established, the solenoid gets a "kick" to release any key that had been pushed down ( my mind says that this also happens on power-up ?). The solenoid also gets that kick in conjunction with the selection pin being "pushed". Your gripper arm looks somewhat strange--don't recall ever seeing one of that type without any rust on it--I thought AMi rusted them, on purpose. What size/type was the fuse it "blew" ? Ron Rich

It blew a 1A Fuse in the junction box.

What type "1 Amp fuse" a 1A FB, or a 1A SB ?

That's not the correct type fuse for that purpose ! It SHOULD have blown -- Use a 1 A, slo-blo type. If the SB type won't hold, you probably have motor problems, or a power supply problem. Ron Rich '
