I know, I know..... manual says every 6 months..... I put it in my phone, then snooze it when the reminder pops, then totally forget to do it.....
So my M100B has been working flawlessly since I brought it back to life last January. Probably the project I am most proud of ever.....looks great, sounds great, really fun to do.....
So speak truth to me..... how long can I REALLY go without re-lubing the box (I promise I will do it this weekend...PROMISE, no take backs !!!). It gets played an hour or so, 3-4 times a week so not over abused, but I realize its almost 70 years old. I did TOTALLY tear it apart and cleaned every bit before reassembly and re-lubing.
Just curious.... (and yes I WILL do it this weekend..... maybe swap records too!)

Hi Andy, Depends on many factors. IF, you did clean and remove all old grease, including all that "Lubriplate" "stuff", then re-greased and re-oiled it PROPERLY (Graphite based grease--20 wt. ND oil), as per the chart, it should have been re-oiled (no grease) at about 6 months. After that, once a year for a few years--watching how much oil is left where--do not over oil it-- The "B" I have in commercial service, operates 4-5 hours per day, 7 days a week, has, for at least 15 years now. I drop oil on it about once a year-- Ron Rich
