I have owned my Wurlitzer 2104 for fourteen years and never had any problems with it until now.
It plays one record then blows the fuse in the pinbank. It doesn’t matter what record is played, it blows the fuse while the record is playing. If I pop up a pin manually it plays fine.
I suspected a problem with one of the pinbank coils but they all checked out OK and I'm not sure where to look next. Is there anywhere I can download a manual or do I need to buy one on eBay? If anyone has any advice it will be gratefully received.

Hi Stuart, Did you post this elsewhere--seems I answered it before ?? Anyway, My GUESS is that one of the relays activated when you make a selection is remaining energized, thus continuing to energize the selection coil. The fuse blows to save the coil. Be 1000 % sure that when you replace that fuse, it is the type and size that WurliTzer installed ONLY ( a smaller size, of the same type, is OK for testing). See our FAQ's section for manual sellers. Most "downloads" are very poor. Ron Rich

Hello again Ron,
Yes I posted on the Jukebox-list but it seems so antiquated that I thought I would give this forum a go. I suspect you are right about a relay remaining energized, I just need to figure out which one. Don't worry, I won't be replacing the fuse with a nail! Stuart

Hi Stuart, Yep--seen nails, brass rods, wires soldered across the blown fuse, and wires soldered across the fuse posts ! Gar-un teeded NO BLOW fuses !! Ron Rich
