Seeburg fc1 arching at reversing switch

Hello all,
New around here and pretty green to the seeburg obsession that has enveloped us here. So i was able to revive one fc1 box and it is working like a champ..she insisted on a his and hers so we picked up a second fc1..this one is not being so nice...we are getting arching at the reverse switch..burnished and cleaned all contacts, replaced the motor start up/run capacitor and still having the same issue..any insight would be much appreciated.

Hi Nick,
Only one thing will cause that arching--miss-adjusted switch contacts. See your service manual--be sure the ""air gaps" are even--be sure the limit (upside-down "V") is stopping the paddle from too much "over-travel" (look at drawing of the switch. Ron Rich
