I want to clarify the free play on my 3800. I have a switch that is labeled free play. It will not stay on, which you mentioned, means the default setting is off. I'm I to understand I still need to put your jumper set up in place in then the switch should work? photos.app.goo.gl/26akx4GnevpqJ44u8

Hi Mike, You apparently did not read the "Hi Newbies" post, in our FAQ's section. You do not understand the function of the switch labeled "free play". Please read "Hi Newbies", then think of that switch as being a switch for the "repair person" to TEST, the jukebox with. I believe that should clear up your problem. Ron Rich

Thanks for your patience my brain is about to explode with all the new information it's taking in, and I'm forgetting things I actually read or didn't really comprehend it in the first place.

I finally made my jumper for free play. I definitely have an issue with the BO/AC, for the first time the selection buttons are functioning. I would still like to get it functioning but happy to moving forward with the mechanics and get it working.

A follow up. I followed Ron's directions in the very post and made a jumper out of a socket which was laying in the bottom of my jukebox. Also when installed the selection light remains lit all the time, indicating you may make another selection.
A side note, if your BO/AC is not functioning there is a very good chance the pricing card was removed under power and this fries a regulator mounded to a big heatsinks on the board.
Also mine got so hot it lifted the foil off the board so you may have to attach a jumper to a sound area of the foil.

Hey all, I am having the same issue with my 1050 Wurlitzer. The Control Box is Model 3700 BO/AC and have jumped #2 & #6, which has worked for the past 7 years. All of a sudden it stopped working this week and tried “helping” the plunger to see if there was an issue. Just can’t figure it out.
Any thoughts or help is appreciated.

I'm not sure what plunger you are referring to. Are you referring to the latch bar solenoid plunger?
After 7 years the jumper plug shouldn't be at fault unless some connection worked it's way loose.

knyli57 I am working on the same issue with a Wurlitzer 3500 Zodiac and my socket is exactly as you describe yours. Jumping 2 to 6 doesn't do it for me. Were you ever able to find a successful combination?
