I was on a hunt for a good bit of software to create title strips for my jukebox and couldn't find one that came with the correct fonts and designs I wanted. I started creating labels in software by hand, then realized it would be faster (long term) to create a bit of software myself... so juke.studio was born. It's all web-based and can print your designs in different fonts, designs, colors-- it even has two Christmas themes. It's pretty easy to use (I hope) and can print on standard letter paper as well as pre-printed cardstock that's still floating around. You can find it at juke.studioJust enter your titles, select your options (or try them all) and click "Print". You'll get a PDF ready to print that contains all your labels. If you've got pre-printed, perforated labels, just set the rows/columns in settings and the software will only generate titles, not the designs so you can print them directly to the stock. Just make sure you set your printer correctly if you've got the 2" wide paper strips... you'll need to set it to LEGAL instead of LETTER. Enjoy, and any questions / you find a bug, just post here. Cheers, Phill

So the holiday season is upon us so I've (finally) added the "Candy Cane" design from the strips you posted to me Ron! Easy to select, just go to Options and under "Style" select "Candy Cane". The other Christmas theme - "Holly" is still there too! Perfect for getting the jukebox filled with merry records! Cheers, Phill

Phill, Thanks for a terrific program. Unfortunately, I cannot get the Import function to work. I even tried manually creating a few in the program, exporting them, clearing the library, then importing the original export and it does nothing. Just kinda sits there at the import/export menu. Am I missing something? I'm using Google Chrome browser and haven't tried any others. I guess I'll give IE and Firefox a shot? BTW: I am a 25 year IT professional so I have a pretty good grasp on (at least) the basics! Thanks in advance!

Quick Update: I've tested with the latest versions of both Chrome, Firefox, and Microsoft Edge (IE) and none will Import the .csv Exported from the program.
Thanks!

Hi Michael,
Glad you're enjoying it! Let me know if there are any features missing. I've set the app up to support different styles per title, I'll work on adding the feature soon, may be of use to you.
Can you try now? It should work. The method I was using for file detection wasn't working, this should behave better now.
I know there's no support for "Artist B" at the moment, I'll work on adding that this week.
Cheers Phill
P.S. I remember when I was a 25 year old IT professional. Anyway, don't worry, I wasn't assuming user error - hard to have user error with a single button!

Sorry Phill, still no joy. I cleared my browser cache, reloaded and still cannot import.
BTW: I may have been a bit unclear. I WISH I were still 25 years old! I'm actually more than double that. I've been in the IT industry (network engineer and not IT Manager) since the early 90s.
Let me know when you are ready to test again!
Thanks!

Ah, read that wrong!
Strange it works fine for me (using a CSV exported from the app). Can you DM me the file or upload it somewhere and ping me a link so I can test to see what's happening with your file?
Cheers, Phill

Hi Phill:
I was checking out your software and for some reason it doesn't print. Tried 2 separate computers, both Chrome and IE and when I go to print a new tab briefly opens in the browser and immediately closes. Any idea what to try? Thanks!
SOLVED
I use Adblock plus on the browsers I tested this on and read that the "blob" tabs used to display the PDF are often closed by the Adblock extension. I whitelisted the juke.studio site on Adblock and the print function now works. Wanted to update this if anyone else runs into a similar issue.

Thanks Tony! I'll see if I can add a check for Adblock and warn users when they will need to whitelist it.
Is it working for you otherwise? Anything you'd like to do better/differently?
Cheers, Phill

It's a nice program - the only thing I noticed in playing with it is that the support for the "side B" artist doesn't seem to print and not supported in the import/export. Probably not a huge deal, but some of the oldies reissues seem to be the majority of what I have that has differing artists on each side. Thanks!

Tony, I've fixed that issue now - second side artists will now show up when you print out the labels. Not sure how I missed that!
Seeburgj, You can now import second-artists. Just use a fourth column in your csv:
Column A: Mommy Kissing Santa Column B: Rudolph Column C: Ronettes Column D: Crystals
e.g: Mommy Kissing Santa,Rudolph,Ronettes,Crystals
Let me know how it works out for you both
Cheers, Phill
