Atlanta 1971 - Record Not Cancelling - SOS From Australia

Gday and greeting from Australia.
I am hoping someone may be able to provide some advice on why my Atlanta (1971 model) is not cancelling the record once it has played. When the record selection has been played it picks up the record and puts it back in the carousel and then immediately selects it again and plays the same record again. Pressing the "Cancel' button or selecting a new record selection does not help.
Is it a problem with the pins/solenoids under the record carousel??
Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks

I really don't know WurliTzer GMBH models, but my guess would be either the released pin is not being canceled, or the read-out switch, is hanging up--Ron Rich
