when making a selection buttons lock in for a seciond and then relase with the sound of subtract soleniod in playrack activating however-- there is no action on the selector drum. the small soleniod does not energise to trip the pin for that selection. Fuses checked and ok. any ideas? thanks in advance. Norman

Gotta da book--? will phono play if you release a pin on the pin bank ? Is this phono a "new acquisition" to you ? Have you checked ALL fuses for type and size ( and, of course--good/bad !) Ron Rich

Ron Thank you for the quick reply,Just got the box, have the manual all fuses ok and correct value, cleaned all contacte. If I release a pin manually, mech will play that record at the end of record mech will return record to carasul and stop.

Hi Norman,
OK double check the keyboard contacts-- use an Analog meter, to be sure all contacts "make well" ! How didja "clean contacts" ?

on pushbutton contacts,I sprayed with deoxit and excersized buttons Realy contacts I used a business card cut down to size, soaked the card with deoxit and cleaned contacts. also selector has another problem-- with the latch bar solenoid energised,if I press a number button first the subtract relay in playrack energises and button releases. if I press the letter button first, nothing happens until I press the number button then subtract soleniod activates ,buttons release but no selection made. thank you for your help
