Hi Ron
I had already removed each wire out of the connectors and cleaned them all when I was last there, so now I will run new ground wires and I also bought the other terminals which make contact on both sides of the pins unlike the original ones so they should have a better chance of making good contact, but I have not gone back there yet and will let you know how it goes. Thanks

I had re soldered all the headers on the mech decoder board even though they all looked OK, but I didn't do the CCC, but I should do that also anyway, but I might run the new earths first and see how that goes. Thanks

Travis, I would not run "new" earths, unless you followed the exact specs. (other then wire size) the old ones used ! That phono (as are all Roew CD's) is subject to "Ground loops". Ron Rich
