Question on connecting tonearm wires

          hello the tonearm plugin is damaged on my rockola regis stereo amplifier so I soldered the wires on from the inside of the amp 
my question is can I connect the ground wire to any ground point on the amp or does it have to be on the same connecter as the stereo tonearm wires? its just a bit tricky connecting all 3 wires to the connector spot

It's not imperative that you connect to ground lug on the back side of the input connector, but it is preferred.

If you go to a different ground point I would try choose one as close to the input connector as feasible.
