Rockola 6000X amplifier questions

Picked up a 6000 today thats been sitting for I would guess a few years. 
I got it to play cds and work almost normal,BUT... 
The speaker overload light is on when no music is being played.Once the music starts ,it goes off. 
I thinking this is not normal.Because,I also got a hum in the speakers and also noticed the right channels out. 
I changed inputs (red & black rca) with no change.   
What should I start looking at? I already checked all connections including in the volume control

As far as the overload LED goes... normally on during standby:

It was 2 pins touching on the mic input plug. Not sure how someone could be so rough with a jukebox.
Separated pins and hum is gone,and all channels work!
