I have put in jumpers from pin 2 to 6-7-8 and still cant get select light on. any advise on what to look for? the push buttons are not operating, I can get a record to play and return to home ok by manually tripping pins and making it search for selection. any help appreciated. Mike

Hi Mike, Please include your location in your profile, or signature section of the post, as requested, by our "rules", in our "User Introduction" section. Are you putting the jumpers in the junction box BO/AC female section, of the plug (leaving the BO/AC un-plugged !) ? If so, you will need to see the schematic, and check voltages-- that should do it ?? Ron Richf

Hi Mike, You are welcome--I have never had this experience--jumpers always worked for me ? Are you sure you have the numbering on that socket correct ?? Ron Rich

I believe so, I looked for numbers on both control panel boac socket and from the boac male plug.the only number I found was a number 2 top middle. I went by the wire colors from the schematic, and it appears that numbers run from right to left 1 starting on top right. I will try moving pins from left to right though just in case.

I was wrong on pin 6 location, I moved jumper and get chattering latch solenoid and blinking selection light.I checked 85 ohm resistor it's ok. I have lubed moving parts, still same. I will try and do adjustments to latch solenoid section, I have manual with procedure. anything else you would recommend? Thanks Mike

Mike, Does that latch bar coil activate a sliding (black-Switch-craft)switch, or a set of open blade switches ? Ron Rich

Hi Mike, They "go bad"-- might want to check/replace it--it should be available from a good electronic supply house--it's a Switch Craft brand. PLEASE-- show your location in the status section of your profile, or the signature box ! Ron Rich

Having the same problem with no credits. Not understanding the jumpers is this to bypass the BO/AC. Trying to get this in free play for a friend of mine.

Ron Thank you for the reply. Which plug are we jumping? I do have the book but I have never worked on a Wurlitzer before so I'm very new to working on this. Thanks again for your help.

You actually should be jumping the pins, on the BO/AC SOCKET, of the "Control Center". Ron Rich
