Ron was able to work on the wurlitzer toady got it going with jumpering the pins. My only question is how will that affect the latching coil. So, it will be energized all the time. Will this cause it to burn out in time or should I install a switch to turn it off when not selecting records or just don't worry about it. Had one burn out on a seeburg one time and it stunk to high heaven. Don't wish that on anyone. Thanks as always for your help Rich

Hi Rich, The coil on the WurliTzer, unlike the solenoid on the Seeburg is rated as a "constant duty device"-- IF -- the resistor is, in fact added in series with it. I have heard of, but never seen, a coil "burn up"-- I have also seen others advise changing that resistor from a 5 to 10 watt unit. Ron Rich
