Wonder if anyone with an SPS160 can take a peek and let me know how your cable from the mech to the DCC and amp is routed. Currently I routed the cable on the left side and up the corner as I don't recall how it was routed before it was removed about a year ago. There is a cable clamp at about the midpoint of the cabinet bottom in front of the mech and wondered if it shouldn't route across the front to the right. The general wiring drawing seems to show that, but not sure if that was drawn for clarity or actual routing. The manual also shows some speaker configurations and where the cabinet and remote units are wired but nothing for when there is only the cabinet speakers. I've got them on the 16W taps as that is what is shown in the first example drawing but when only the cabinet speakers are used, do they normally go on the 50W tap? All in all, I'm pretty happy as this is my second juke and first Seeburg. Recapped the DCC and repaired/recapped the amp some time ago and just tackled the mech recently. Put it all back together tonight and worked right off the bat. Not sure I'm going to get away with a 3rd jukebox, wife might have an issue with that, but sure would love an M100C

Hi Tony, Mech cable does not go to either the DCC, nor amp. All goes to plugs on the Service switch. Depending on which cabinet you have, jumpers are routed thru cable clamps up top of the L side glass to the DCC and amp. Amp cables are split-- All but, Volume control comes over the top of the amp, down thru the heat sink fin, or attached to the fin with metal clamps. Volume control comes up to and under the amp, held on with "housekeeping" (two types) of plastic clamps (see the parts manual). For speaker connections see the I & O manual. One cable routing caution on all MicroLog models--The TMU wires MUST remain ABOVE the guide attached to the DRD hoousing, and the two need to be fastened (either tape, or a "wire tie"), right at the point they pass thru. Thank you for the info, I’ll double check the TMU wire routing and make sure that is as you say as well. As far as referring to the mech cable, my bad on that one. The jumper cables were left attached to the service switch plugs when the mech was removed.
Again, thanks for this great forum!
