Need to replace the 6973 s in a seeburg SHFA5 amp. Will a 6CZ5 work? If not, are the "Electro Harmonix tubes from Russia ok to use? Thanks for your help. Norman

6cz5--should outta work--maybe ??
I have had good luck with the EH 6973's for the last few years--they did have a problem with a production run in 2010, I believe--When replacing them--I would use 2 in that side of the amp. Also check the resistors in/around that circuit--I think there are 4-either 470, or 470k resistors used there( too lazy to get out the schematic), that are prone to problems--Ron Rich
