Hi all, recently joined the forum having finished repairing a Seeburg SS-160. Shortly after getting it up and running I got a request to repair an AMI Lyric, but discovered that the last serviceman had removed the entire gripper motor assembly from the machine. I have a lead on a reproduction motor/ gearbox and I know I can get a crank arm from the guys at Victory Glass, but for the life of me I can't find the stupid bracket the whole thing mounts on. I don't suppose anybody here knows of any reproduction brackets available or a good used parts source? I appreciate any help you can provide.

Hello sparksnarcs, If you can can source one in the USA then contact me and I should be able to sort you out with any suitable Rowe Ami parts. Have you tried getting parts from www.jukeboxparts.com ? Hi Alan, Sparksnarcs, John has closed jukebox parts-- that site will now take you to his "needles" site, which he has expanded--see the FAQs above for the new URL for that site, which has re-opened under new ownership-- Ron Rich

Regards Alan Alan Hood ami-man UK Hi Alan, I've searched through every Jukebox parts place and website I could find on this site and on Google, but all of them have told me the same thing: they don't have the bracket, motor or anything else. At this point if I knew I could find a bracket everything else would be cake. Also, how should I contact you for parts info, does this forum have a PM system?

^^ apparently I haven't got the hang of using the quote system. That last part should be outside the quote box. oops.

Matthew, Yes we have a PM system-- click on the member's name in the ID box to the left of his text, and it will take you to his info--sometimes members leave an email address there, or you can access the PM system to "send a message" (only to that member). Ron Rich

Alright, so at this point I've gotten no further responses from anyone, so I'm going to attempt to manufacture a bracket from scratch. I'll be using an Ebay image as a starting point along with the spacing of the mounting screw holes on the changer base as a measurement reference. I'll post some photos as things progress. Should be fun!

Matt, there is a place in Maryland called "Coinopwarehouse", I think they are on Facebook, which I don't do. They have a lot of used jukebox and arcade parts for sale. Give it a try, whats' to lose.
