M100B. freshly gone through and been playing great for maybe 2 months or so. Pinbank has been cleaned and DID work flawlessly. Enter any selection and it's been fine, and always was since the "rebuild". Today I hit E8 and it moved the pin on the pinbank, and began to scan. Once it reached the pin, it didn't stop and pickup the record, just kept scanning back and forth. I can move the pin manually and it will stop scanning. Other selections play, E6 plays, E10 plays, anything else but E8. The pin to select E8 looks to be straight in my opinion, I tried slightly bending it to see if it made a difference, no better. I did find that it I apply LIGHT upward pressure on the frog while it's scanning past E8; it stops and picks up everytime.
To me, it's acting as if the frog is too low, and not high enough to make contact with the E8 pin; thought that wasn't a possibility though as every other selection will play. I've tried loosening the contact block adjusting screws and applying upward pressure on the drive bracket. I've also moved the mechanism all the way to the end of travel on the K side and aligned the 2 screws with the access holes that hold the drive bracket support on to the contact arm, loosened these and applied upward pressure while tightening....no difference.
Basically, while it's scanning past E8, I can wiggle the frog and/or apply light upward pressure, and it will catch and play E8. This was never an issue before until now. Am I missing something here??
Thanks
