Is this the correct wire layout for the detent switch? I read the schematic as grey wire to choke, switch, yellow wire. This doesn't look correct to me but I am not near a working unit to pull it and look. Stephen

Hi Stephen, It's sloppy, but correct-- however I think what is confusing you is that you have the "terminal post" labeled as "blade one"-- there ain't no, nor should there be a blade there. Ron Rich

Thanks Ron. I know it's sloppy but someone before me had cut and stripped the wires back so far that I'm afraid I won't have enough slack if I try to clean it up and strip the wires again.
It was wired incorrectly before I started then, the grey and yellow wires were swapped.
So blade 1 & 2 are the ones that make contact and the third terminal is the bias blade and that is where the grey wire and choke are soldered to. The choke then jumps to blade 1 protecting the circuit from an excessive hit of DC current?

Stephen, Grey and yellow wires can be swapped--no problem-- yes one wire to one side of the choke on a solder lug (could not re-call what to call that earlier)thru the switch to the other wire. You can lengthen the wires--just keep them twisted ! Ron Rich
