r-481 gripper and magazine motors

Hello,

I received an email about an ad I have on eBay.

The person wants to know if the Rockola 481 gripper and magazine motors are the same except for the 
gears.  Would the motor and the reduction gears be the same?

I already have sold the gripper motor, so I can't do a side by comparison.

Ron: I don't think this one is in the manual....

Yezzer, BJ--it are in most RockOla manuals--two different motors ! Many brands were used-might have interchangeable rotors, but castings are different in all cases, that I know of. Ron Rich
