Does anyone know of an interchange table that shows which components can be swapped between models? For instance can an R-94 computer module be swapped into an R-84 to R-93 jukebox?

No "chart" that I've seen--- Light bulbs--maybe ! When you have a second, please read and comply with our "posting rules" as noted in the user introduction section. Thank-you, Ron Rich board monitor.

Hello Stingman,
Some of the parts are interchangeable on the following jukeboxes:-
The R-84 and R-85 power supply (junction box) was for these two models only The R-86 to R-94 power supply was basically the same.
R-84 to R-88 jukeboxes the CCC. Pricing Board and Mechanism Control could be interchanged The opto switch on the R-84 to R-88 could also be interchanged.
The Pricing Board was ditched on the R-89 to R-94 so these models only used the small CCC and the Mechanism Control, the opto switch used had a red plug (this was also used on the CD jukeboxes) the mechanism control also had trimmer controls for the home & index. The CCC and mechanism control could be used on the R-89 through to the R-94 but the CCC had to have the correct program chip for the 3 different displays on these models. The R-89 used the very long display, the R-90 & R-91 used a small single side display board and the R-92 to R-94 used a two sided shaped display board. Without the correct program chip in the CCC the displayed information was in the wrong location on the displays.

Thank you Alan,
I will file this information away for future reference. I there any advantage of owning a later model Rowe, ie. R-88 to R-94 as opposed to a R-84 to R-87? I have my eye on a R-92 combo that has not been in use for 10-15 years. I expect the CD player to be non-functional so I will add an mp3 update package from CDadapter.com to any R-84 to R-94 that I finally come across. Presently I am boxless..... Before an idle unit is powered up for the first time, are there any precautions to be aware of aside from cleaning out mice nests?
Thanks again,

Hi Mike, Newer tech-- Rowe simplified the operation thru the years--parts are easier to find-- I would be sure to oil the motors prior to using one that had "sat"--- Ron Rich
