bench testing a HFMA1-L6 amp

hi all...the schematic says input of 25mv....so this high level for a magnetic cartridge is no match for my workshop turntable with a stanton magnetic cartridge putting out around 5mv....i believe seeburg published a circuit for testing the input of these amps so you could test them from a line level source....i can use a signal generator, but would like to hear what it sounds like! i have looked in my seeburg manuals but cannot find any info.....as is the amp has to be nearly on full volume to hear anything much...thanks in advance for any help....bob

Hi Bob,
In later models, Seeburg said to run it through the cartridge-- I have just run a 9 volt radio output directly into the amp-- very low volume setting on the radio-- proper impeadence speaker connected--works for me -- Ron Rich
