I gave the Nephew a Seeburg B several years ago. He uses it is his home office (CPA) guy to entertain his clients. I suppose it got a good work out during tax season! It has performed well but it now takes out the motor fuse (3 Amp Fast Acting) when a selection is made. I did not have Ron's Seeburg manual with me so I was handicapped. I did remember that circuit goes though the reversing switch. I checked that and it looked OK. I changed the fuse to a 3 amp slo-blow and it is holding but I need to do more. I am never comfortable with increasing fusing amperage, in any way, to correct (hide) another problem, way too dangerous. I am thinking of changing the motor condenser. I have never changed one of those condensers. Maybe I should?

Hi Juke 46, Read the FAQ on "over-center switches". If not already done--delete C-2 from the motor terminal. Motor cap is OK ! Ron Rich

Ron, Thank You! Got the C-2 out of there already, a couple of months ago! I read through your "over-center switch" information. I had never read it and kind of lived in terror on just how to adjust switches like the reversing switch! I appreciate your assistance and this website! Thanks! juke46, Peoria, AZ.
