Hello,
New member here. I'm glad this place exists!
I have a '62 DS 160 that I've had for years. It sounds great and I love every thing about it! Forgive me for being a little dim but I realized not too long ago that I've not done any maintenance to it.
Now, if being mechanically inclined was a 10 point scale, I'd be about a 4. But, I sure can follow directions and diagrams. So, I ordered the service manual for the DS 160 thinking I could go off of that when it comes to where to lubricate the mech and keep the jukebox in tip top shape. WRONG! As I'm sure you know, the service manual is so hard read and tell where to put the oil I gave up.
Which is why I'm here. Can any of you recommend a resource that would help a novice like me out?
Any advice on how to keep it running for another 50 years would be appreciated.
Thanks!

Hi, Welcome! Please read and comply with our "posting rules" as shown in our "user introduction" section. Yes--You have a somewhat difficult task ahead. I suggest you start by reading ! Read the Service Manual first-- then the "stickies" posted here in Seeburg, and those posted in our FAQ's section. I would also humbly suggest that the "Seeburg Mechanism Guide", I have written should be of help--I re-published several of the "Seeburg Lube Charts", as I realize they were sometimes difficult to understand. Along with that there are some photos of the clutch. Should you wish to purchase it, please contact me at: ronnnrich@yahoo.com Ron Rich
