I recently acquired an Electra. While fooling around with it some how I caused the clamp arm to clamp before a record is transferred from the magazine. The machine still tries to push a record in and play it after the clamp has gone down. I need to know the best way to access the carriage to fix it so it will play correctly. I would also like to update the speakers and generally improve sound quality. Do all the speakers 6 5” speakers and 2 12” speakers have the same impedance?
