I bought a 1976 Seeburg std3 from a old bar and someone had remove the volume pot and wired it to play full blast all the time. I bought a new 25K stereo pot and now I have no clue to how to wire this pot. Could someone please post a photo of the wiring harness going to the volume pot so that I can wire mine please. And seeburg std series will work

Hi Juju, ( I used to know a guy named "Juju"--have you ever lived in the SF area) ? Are you sure the pot's not there ?? The pot on that unit was attached to the rear wall with a 12 position Molex Plug-- You would need to obtain the service manual for all of the wires-- but look carefully, if a motor is attached, the volume control is there--just remove the motor, or purchase a "control head" for it. Ron Rich Lol no, I've never lived in SF. I'm just a woman who loves old jukeboxes and arcades and I love restoring these items.

juju504 - heres a few from my STD4 let me know if they are OK I appreciate the photos. I can't really tell which wires are going to the pot. I have 6 wires that need to be wired to my volume pot. Could you please take a photo of just the wires on the side of the pot if possible? I appreciate it.

JuJu, I think, Y=you have purchased the wrong pot--the SHP requires a minimum of eight connectors on the pot--check our FAQ's for a supplier that can sell you the correct repro, or one who has the whole VC assembly for sale. Ron Rich

Ron Rich I guess I did buy the wrong pot. Mine only has 6 connectors. I appreciate all the help. I will check the FAQ and find a proper supplier. Thanks for the help this forum is awesome I'm glad I found it!
