I have audio from the tonearm cable and power to the amplifier(at least the relay on the amplifier engages),but nothing after that.Should I start replacing caps ?

Not enough info here to diagnose the problem--How do you know you have audio from the tonearm ? How do you know that the amp power supply is working (relay may be a function independent from amp's power supply ?) Do you have the schematic--do you have the needed skills to trouble shoot that amp--did you just get this phono, or have you had it for awhile, and it just quit having audio ? Changing "caps", may help, if the power supply is not working, or coupling caps are bad-- but also could be a waste of time/money. Ron Rich

I apologize, here's what I'm working on.It's a Rock-Ola 467 with a 50335-A mono amp.I do have a schematic but it's for the stereo version.I unplugged the tonearm cable from the amp and connected it to a home amp and had sound.I have experience repairing tube radios, pinball machines and jukeboxes.I'm trying to repair this for a friend who told me that the machine had sat for awhile and was working the last time he used it.I certainly would appreciate any help or suggestions you may have.

Trouble shoot it the same as any amp--only one factor different is the mute function, which should be the same for either a mono, or stereo amp. Ron Rich
