Hi, I've not applied power to anything yet as I don't want to damage anything. Can I power up the juke box without speakers and without the wallbox connected and not cause anything to 'pop'? There's a few records in the bottom section of the carousel and the restraining band has slipped to the side so some of the records are touching the floor or other pieces of mechanism. Is there any way of manually stepping or winding the carousel so I can remove these? If not, will the carousel start to rotate if I just apply power to the jukebox? I assume I could trace the wires and disconnect the motor so it can't turn but, again, would this cause problems if I power up with it disconnected?

Hi Peter, I just spotted this post today ?? Anyway, you can just loosen the carriage motor and spin the carriage without power--caution, however--spin it ONLY in the direction the motor would do, or you can cause MAJOR problems !! BTW--the record basket MUST be full of records at ll times when you "run it"-- If no "pins are pulled " ( no selected records) the motor should NOT normally run, when power is applied. Ron Rich

Hi,
thanks.
I've managed to free some of the records that had fallen out of the bottom and I've re-positioned the retaining band.
There's still around 6 - 7 records in it about the 10.00 o'clock position so I'd need to rotate it to get those out, but they don't seem to be causing any problem so I'll leave them for now.
Regards Peter
