placing records in the carousel R-84 to R-94

I have a very newbie question: when placing records in the carousel, does the record that will agree with the jukestrip go to the right or left of the plastic numbers on the carousel? I ask this because my R-90 keeps selecting the wrong record; most of the time one higher than inputted.

Hi Mike,
Record # 100 goes into the 100 space with the top (A side) to the left-- Is your record basket fully loaded ? If not, expect to get the wrong selections ! Basket MUST be full before operating a Rowe !! Ron Rich

assuming the carousel is empty, does the record for slot #100 go to the right or left of the corresponding number 100 on the carousel?

Not one mention or diagram in my R-90 user and service manual shows this very basic information.

Is it a copy manual, or an original ? If you purchased it from one of the "legit" sources listed in our FAQs section, cal/contact them and complain ! If they don't correct that problem, post it here and elsewhere ! Ron Rich

Hi Ron,
My R-90 manual is an original.
What the manual should state is that when 199 is selected from the keyboard and the "home" light is lit on the mech computer in the service mode, the next slot to the right is for record 100.
