Hoping some kind person can advise.Machine worked fine when last used in January but I am just recovering from a long illness so havent tried it since.Basically as soon as I switch the power on the play control relay pulls in.Mech is in scan position,would expect the motor to turn if the relays pulled in?Have lifted the lever and turned the motor manually to put it in play position then back into scan but no change?Still arent strong enough to spend too much time on it so thought I may get a response here that would get me an answer quicker.

Hi Mick, Hope you fully recover very soon ! With the power OFF, flip the reversing switch and then re-power it--still no go ? Unless the mech is not plugged in correctly (broken index on the plug), or the reversing switch has broken, I would suspect the motor run cap, has past away --- Ron Rich
After thoughts: Is the 0.1 cap still soldered on the left two motor terminals ? If so, disconnect it--you don't need/want it !! Check the 3 Amp motor fuse-- "Dirty" Play control relay contacts ??
