Hello
Now im confused and are out if ideas :-)
The wallbox have worked well for some weeks, but now the setup with the box start to act wierd. When i make an selection, let say A1, the stepper in the box does it jobb, the problem is that no selection is made, some of the time it makes the selection.
If i make an selection on the box, and when the Mech is scanning i can make an selection on the Wallbox and the song is played. it feels like i have a problem with the 2 timing relays, but im out of ideas now :-)
anyone of you have any good ideas?
Best Regards
Patrik

Hi Patrik, About 95% of the time a problem such as yours is in the "stepper", not the wall box. On the wallbox, are the gear train and bearings oiled properly-- ? Listen and watch the stepper as you have someone select "K_10", Watch the transfer contacts on the first wheel-- that's the first place those steppers have problems-- Has anyone added a bracer blade to the top blade--is the contact clean (free of "pits"), and adjusted as per spec. ? Now have someone select "B-3" and watch the step up wheels--are they fully returning to home EVERY time B-3 is pushed ? Have you oiled the bearings on those wheels properly? ( see the stickies, here and in our FAQ's section) Ron Rich

Hi Rich
The stepper is working just like it should ,the problem seems to be letter and block selection. when the Mech is in scan mode and searching for let say K-10, i can make a selection from the wallbox for let say A-9 and it plays A-9 after the selection the mech looking for, so something happends under scanmode that make the stepper make a selection, (The stepper always do the right pulses on both letters and nummbers).

Hi Patrik, I think I understand what you wrote, however, I just can not see any connection between that selection system and what the mechanism motor is doing (scanning, or playing), as they are two independent systems . Try the following--scan the mechanism carriage to about the center of the rack, and turn the motor switch off (the non-snap one). Now look at the SAU, and select A-1. A-2, K-9, and K-10, using the ES. Did all 4 pins move all the way out ? If so, reset them by hand and use the WOM to make the same selections --did all 4 pins fully go into the play position ? If so, turn the motor back on, and see if they all play--If not (either time), then you have problems inside the SAU. Ron Rich
