M100B won't trip at end of record and go to next record

I'm brand new to this, but hoping someone can help.  I just removed the thorpe cartridge and replaced the needles, because I accidentally broke one off.  Now, when I turn the jukebox back on and the record plays successfully, the needle just keeps spinning at the end of the selection.  It doesn't trip and start moving to the next record.  Also, the reject button on the back doesn't do anything.  It worked fine before I replaced the needle.  What am I doing wrong?

Changing needles should not cause this problem -- Do you have a service manual ? If so, find the "Detent release lever", on the mechanism and lift it -- that may clear your problem ? How long has it been since your phono was properly oiled, using the proper oil ?
