I got an AMI Rowe 100 CD juke box many years ago. After a while it stopped working and sat in my dining room for years. Well I started to work on it last week, and wonders of wonders I got it working. Well mostly working After watching some videos, I was able to learn how to set it to factory defaults, and reset everything I did this, and it is now working. However, if it does not play anything in a while, it will start to spin the carousel, pulling random CDs, putting them on the player, and then rejecting them. It will do this for a while I have to go in, clear the errors, and then reset it back to factory defaults. Then of course i need to program all the information back into it. Like free play, etc, etc. How can I get it to stop this after playing activity. Or better yet, why is it doing this.
Could the battery be low from it sitting all those years unplugged? Thank you for your help.

Battery is one of the "culprits"-- Others may include design errors, not up-dated / corrected, and the (IMHO) faulty nature of CD's and the player units, themselves. Ron Rich

Hello disneyrob,
I agree with Ron it sounds like the battery in the CCC, these are 3 volts (not rechargeable cells)if it is pulling the CD's out it has lost its setup and is initializing the CD's.
