Some PO painted the sides of my R-84 with The only exterior part that has the original color (some type of blue) is the panel on top which has the clear licensing square. I would like to be able to take something down to the paint store for a match on their color duplication machine but I've not been able to find anything that is easily removable.

Hi Leo, Whatz a "PO" ? --Never mind--I think I have met him, once or twice-- How about taking a photo of that color, down to the paint store--probably will match about as good as can be--- Ron Rich

Hello Leo,
If the original colour was blue then the jukebox would have been the 1980 Rowe Ami R-84 Tempo or Tempo-Disco.
If it has been painted you could remove the paint from one of the plastic trim below the cabinet sides this is called the Panel Rocker LH (part number 6-08955-02).

Hey Alan, thanks for the tip. Unfortunately, some previous owner painted all of it except the top panel where the license tag went, however, I will remove one of those panels and see if I can get the paint off some way without removing the original color below. Any ideas about that?

I was able to remove the Panel Rocker 6-08955-02 and on the inside edge was some of the original color. I went to a paint store (not Lowe's or Home Depot) and the person there spent about 1/2 hour making me a quart of paint. It took that long to match the color through experimentation. I was so impressed........

I have no idea, can't find any color information in the manuals, this guy at the paint store mixed this by hand until he matched the color, no formula. Alan Hood said blue and he is correct about that......

Hello Leo, the blue colour on the quick reply heading is not far off the mark or could be slightly darker.
