Hello Friends (well I hope)
I am trying to keep my machine running. I need to reset the screws on the "see saw" plate that contact six microswitches below. this plate is to the right of the tone arm and the screws are numbered. the rear five screws all appear to be set at the same length meaning that all rear switches open and close as one. Is this correct?
The problem is that the circular cam below the tone arm travels a little too far and is in contact with the plate below the tone arm when in the play position....so the arm will not move freely.
There must be an easy adjustment.....please. I am thinking one or more of the screws or even the cam ? Thanks Vic

Hi Vic, Did these switch adjustments "change--all by themselves" ? If so, you have MicroSwitch(es) that need to be replaced ! See our FAQ's section on switches. The Service Manual has the adjustment procedure in it-- I've replaced and adjusted them in the past--not fun, but not too hard to follow-- Ron Rich

Hello and thanks. From memory....What happened is that the turntable kept turning when the record was replaced. In my amateur way I helped the see saw plate a little with gentle pressure and got a response. the plate did not appear to have enough lift at the front (or too much resistance at the back) So I then have tried to adjust the screws to compensate. Plate runs freely now but the settings are all wrong.
I completely take your point on the switches and may need to replace.
I also have an unreliable end of record microswitch, might that be affecting the operation.
So firstly I need a service manual, some years ago I downloaded a Seeburg one for free but cant remember the site. Any suggestions, but I am happy to pay.
Thanks Vic
