NSM Digital Thunder not playing VCD

Hi all,
First time poster, pretty new to Jukeboxes.
I'm having issues with my Digital Thunder. It plays the CD's in the the machine but won't play the VCD's it grabs them and spins them and I'm sure it's actually playing them, it's just not putting out any audio.

It has a video extension board which looks pretty dodgy, but pretty simple and cable looks ok.

I assume it's trying to push the audio external with the video, but nothing coming out of the video extension board.

Is there a jumper or something to make VCD's play on internal speakers?

It needs a new battery ram which I'm waiting on, is there anyway this could cause this issue?

Does anyone have a circuit diagram for the MBC III cd player?

Hello Duke and welcome to the forum.  Getting the ram battery is the place to start. it causes all the electronics to reset every time it is tuned off. once you have it installed go through all setting in the installation manual.  that is a start but no guarantee that you will get any video feed from a VCD.  Mark

I don't really care about the video, I'd just like the audio from the VDC's to play internally, does anyone know if this is a setting or jumper? I haven't been able to find one for this.
