I've been out of the jukebox seen for quite a while and have noticed the prices have come down quite a bit from 20 years ago.I am thinking about buying a Rockola 1939 standard in good original condition. What are these selling for in complete good condition? The upper right plastic has a crack & he redid the cabinet about 25 years ago. I doubt it works but everything is there.

Hi there! I’m also a new member, and learn a lot just reading these posts. About your Rockola Standard, I looked in the price guide and it ranges from $300 to $3000, depending on the condition. Be mindful that a jukebox this old may prove difficult to get any missing/necessary parts. It looks like a great box, though. Good luck! Rebo

Hey... thanks for the reply.
I was talking to a guy who restores jukeboxes for a living & he mentioned that he can't sell a nice restored Rockola 1428 for $3000... so that makes me wonder if the 39 standard is maybe worth $500 the way it sits.

Scamp--prices on this "stuff" vary by time of day--day of week, the season -- and personalities of both the seller, and buyer ! You too could have your very own "price list"-- just go to our FAQ's section and find the address for Always Jukin, and/or Victory Glass--both publish them-- Ron Rich

Yes, I agree regarding pricing. It is all relative. We have a 1937 Wurlitzer 616A which, according to the price guide, would not bring in much money should we ever sell it. But it is priceless to us. We restore jukeboxes for our own collection and enjoyment, none for resale. A good rule of thumb is to buy what appeals to you. Rebo

I paid $1000 for my 1939 ST-39. It is all original, all complete, and needs the usual cleaning & fixing. Bill Butterfield probably has a replacement catalin for you. If you like catalin, go for it! Probably the largest slabs ever used on a juke. Your $500 price suggestion sounds like a good starting spot to me. Once you have it working and nice looking, it might only be worth $2000 so as someone else suggested, if you like it, buy it and enjoy it.
