Spring

This
is the spring that I need help with first pick is the mount for the turn table
Small hole on left side ( middle edge of Mount) I am wondering
 If that is where to attach  the spring it's the only hole I can see
  Second is the spring  it's just in front of the counter  I hope you can see it ok
