Hi Hank, Beautiful Dawg there-- Got one that looks to be her twin sister--even has the same pink collar ! Anyway-- what did you "acquire" ? What were you missing ? Do you have a copy of the parts manual ? Use it to clarify this request. When you say "slug rejector", are you speaking of the NDQ coin handling portion ONLY, or are you including a HDU, and/ or mounting frame, and /or the coin switches ? -- can be rather confuzzing to a simple minded guy like me ! Thanks Ron, that is Malcom in the picture,Labs are such great dogs..I acquired what appears to be just the slug rejector (NDQ coin handling portion) the unit had the accumulator when I purchased it.. I have a manual that I downloaded, but do not have a complete parts list. The holes that exist where the rejector should mount, don't appear to match up with anything on the slug unit, so I think I may be missing a , mounting bracket. Also there is a 6 prong plug that will insert into the accumulator and another 4 wires that would appear to connect to the slug rejector..I have a red, a green and yellow, a black and yellow and a red and yellow. I just pickedmy 1454 up for next to nothing and have taken a real shine to it... I have the thing playing tunes, but would like to continue to improve it...
Thanks for the reply, Hank

Hi Hank, Yep--I have two English Labs--one is now nearly 6 years old and the other (black female) is exactly 3 years, one day, younger. The NDQ unit can be either a NRI ("National") brand unit, or a CoinCo unit. If correct for your RO, it should have studs that fit the housing in your phono ? Post photo's of what you have, and the area of what'z missing, and maybe I can figure it out-- Also see our FAQ's section on "books"-- "Download manuals" are almost ALL ways next to useless ! Hello Ron This is the slug rejector I picked up and a picture of where it should mount I believe. You can see the wires that I'm talking about and the screw holes in the side of the box. The 6 prong plug abviously plugs into the accumulator socket, but the 4 wires are a mystery...

Hi Hank, This appears to be the "standard" NRI NDQ rejector--with an added "funnel" on top, of both sides. I don't re-call seeing those additions being used in a RO phono. For some reason, I can not expand the first photo ? Nor can I really see the slug rejector housing -- Ron Rich

I have a 1458, and just put my slug rejector and housing back in my jukebox. There is a small 4 prong plug that goes from the housing into the accumulator. Let me know if I can be of any help to you at this point.

The housing that you saw on ebay looks just like mine, and I am now fairly familiar with it. I can even see what repairs that one needs! LOL
