Hy all!
I'm Gábor from Switzerland. I'd like to ask you for help. I have a Rowe Ami Ti 1 music machine. Amplifier and preamplifier are good, but for some reason there is no sound. When I connect my phone to the 2 RCA sockets on the amplifier, it sounds. However, it does not work through the preamplifier through the turntable. The turntable gives a signal to the preamplifier. What could be the problem? Anyone have any ideas? Thank you everyone!

Hello gabor,
Welcome to the group. If your TI-1 has the original amplifier it would be a R-4359 valve amplifier using a remote transistor pre-amplifier fitted on the rear wall of the cabinet near the mid-range speakers. The two phono sockets on the amplifier are for input/output to a slave amplifier the input would have to be about 500 to 600 mv (we used to use this input to use a tape/CD input into the jukebox for background music.
For you to use your phone you would need some form of matching amplifier and disable the mute circuit.
