I want to see what I would have to do to recreate the Sky Jukebox from Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Sky (as shown below), proper jukebox-sized, with more realistic proportions: i.imgtc.ws/Y2vO225.pngI don't know anything about jukeboxes. I would like to put the soundtrack of Pokemon Mystery Dungeon 2 on it (~170 songs) as a starter, with the ability to add more. I would like it to all be digital (not that PMD2's OST had any physical releases anyway) with a touch screen interface to select songs. Could I make it using the shell of an older jukebox? How much should I expect to be dumping into this? I apologize for my lack of knowledge.

First off, a "Jukebox", by law, MUST have some mechanical action, so what you're asking about is classified as a "down-loader", not a jukebox. A down-loader requires a license ( as does a jukebox--but different license provisions). In the case of down-loaders, the license is covered by the music subscription service. You will need to contact the various services to find out what is required. If doing this for you own use, in your home, I don't know the technical legalities, and would advise you to seek a lawyer that is familiar with the music copyright laws. Ron Rich
