Occasionally I have been interested in converting a newer wallbox or consolette to MP3 player(jukebox) is there a reference as to what signals go between the wallbox and jukebox? I was looking at AMI WRE or WRF and Seeburg DEC, maybe even the Rowe Wallette CD version unless it's plastic.

Scott, The Seeburg DEC's send exactly the same signals as does the jukebox DTP-1, as they incorporate a DTP-1 into the wall box. See the service manual for the DEC's. Ron Rich

Their products cost almost as much as a wallbox, I am looking for a fun programming and build project,(like the SCH1 I did) and I was wondering what kind of signal, or data came out of the wallbox, so I could save another one from a basement.
A link to my project is at the bottom of this post. Cost without the power transformer(needed for the Datasync conversion as well) was $40
Anyone know if a Rowe CD Wallette is plastic or metal?

Bummer! , I was hoping it had the look and feel of quality. A Rowe / Ami wrd or something like that would be nice, but I am not sure if I could decode the signals, A WRA would be similar to the Seeburg, using a pulse system. Datasync replaces the computer in the WRD with it's own, I am not sure if they did that because of decoding issues, or because it allows more features.
