WOW I get to be the 1st to post on this new site! Thanks Ron for letting us know. well here is the problem. 100 C I recapped the wsr, and it will work ok with the credit unit fine for selections. if WOM or freeplay unit(victory glass) is connected fuse blows as soon as selection made. I have gone thru the stepper and it is not sticking. not sure that would make a difference as it also blows with freeplay. I cannot remember if this is a case where I can overfuse it. I have some 1.5's but were afraid as this is not my machine. Thanks all Mark

Hi Mark, I anna never seent that happen ? ONLY thing I can think of is the timing relay in the CCU--Are the contacts clean ? Do you have it adjusted per the manual --65 grams pressure ? Is the DC voltage 17 vdc or more ? If you checked the service manual, they call for a 2 amp. SB fuse there--I think that is too high, and fusing it at over 1.6 is dangerous to the SAU coils. Ron Rich

Due to what Mark has written, I doubt that this is the case--sure ONE, or several coils, could be bad, however adding/removing the FPA should not affect that circuit ! Ron Rich

only issue using free play plug, keeps key selector coil energized all time jukes plugged in can do same thing by pushing reset ramp in credit unit so wont reset lever

IMHO, Ab-sol-lutly the stupidest thing one can do to the CCU, is bend that (case hardened) ramp, as it is nearly impossible to return it to the proper position. If you MUST do it the cheap way ( and risk a fire) one CAN jump the rotary switch function--I DO NOT advise leaving any Seeburg, or any other thing that uses an "intermittent duty solenoid",on constantly, after rebuilding hundreds of ES and TES units that have caught fire (and seeing a few burned beyond repair--and one that caught the building on fire) ! The "electronic Free Play Adaptor" (yes--I do sell them !), virtually eliminates the fire hazard, and also allows either SAFE, coin, or SAFE, free play by flipping a switch.
