Hello All, I'm trying to repair a fairly small area on the glass of this Seeburg LS3 indicator (I have highlighted the area with a red circle in the first picture). I am looking for suggestions for a good way to do this. Of course, the fact that it is backlit adds to the difficulty. In the second picture, you can see the back side where I've tried to use some acrylic paint (also tried some enamel paint), but was unhappy with the results so I removed it (it could be that my paints were a bit old too). Thanks for any suggestions you might have!

You can usually find a bit of info on pinball sites about backglass touch up and repair that will probably help you - for example at pinrepair.com. Norman.

I was told, by a gent that restored paintings, including back-glass for pinball's, that the reason your paint came off was due to either "dirt" that was left on the glass prior to the initial painting, or a particle of "dirt" in the original paint. In either case, he said he had to "treat" the glass in order to make new paint stick there-- He had several different "treatments" he used-- I don't recall any of them now-- too many years ago-- Ron Rich
