The record takeout arm came out with the record and it played to the end of record .When it came time to replace it back to the record magazine the record arm up an did not turn the 90 degrees to reinsert the record back into the magazine . What adjustment can fix this problem ? As the manual is unclear or i am over looking it .

Much more info needed--did the motor loose power, or the gear box fail ?--did the toggle fail to toggle ? did the gear bind? What position is the gripper arm in now ? (hope it's powered down !)

Power off first thing . Motor did not loose power . The gearbox is in the home position . The gripper arm is resting against the record guide bracket in the play position . What , toggle fail to toggle are you referring to ? The gripper arm on the way up from the turn table did not turn to put the record square with the guide tips . the safety switch is not made and the arms that push the pin against the safety switch are in the home position as this is tied to the gearbox .

OK, then you are saying the motor attempted to continue operating ? Motor is NOT at "home" until the safety switch has been actuated ? "Toggle" is a AMi word for what WurliTzer called the "side switch actuators"--sorry got the two brands confused ! Ron Rich

I would back the motor up to the point that the gripper should flip to the other position -- operate it a few times and observe what causes it to flip/not flip over -- it's usually the the side shift assembly, which is mostly (aside from the coil{s|}, mechanical !
