Hello all!
New guy here. I've had my 2700 for quite a few years now. Haven't been playing it so much lately and we all know mechanical things don't sit still well. They like to be used.
First question is about the selector crank & shaft assembly. It has grease on the shaft that has hardened and is slowing it down. When a record plays the mounting plate and selector shaft assembly don't move beyond the selection pins sometimes and the selection replays over and over. What can I use to clean off that hardened grease so I can lubricate it again?
Next question pertains to my main cam & bushing assembly. It has gone way too long without lubrication and is really worn. So much that I want to replace it. I have no trouble with disassembling it but didn't want to do it the wrong way or wrong sequence. Can anyone advise on that?
Thanks!
Jeff
