Hi,
I have been rebuilding this jukebox and moving on to final issues.
The jukebox has a Dual Pricing Unit (DPU1) installed.
The add credits works very well, and the subtract credits works well also. However, I cannot work out how to change the number of subtract credits.
It currently subtracts 3 credits per tune. How can I adjust it to subtract only 2 credits per tune?
I cannot find anything in my manual and I assume it is a simply process of moving a connection within the selector area.
But which one? I am lost.
Any advice appreciated.
Cheers

Hi Gordon, 1. A model "KS200" should NOT have a DPU of any kind installed in it ! It should have a SPU type installed in it. Model KD 200, came with the DPU's. Do you have the "I & O manual" for a model K ? 2. DPU's were designed so that zero "adjustments" were "possible". There were two DPU models--You had to order the pricing you wanted. Any derivation, was a "jury rigged" job, done locally. Ron Rich

Hi Ron,
I have Service Manual and Parts Catalog for the Model K and L jukeboxes.
OK, I assumed that the DPU was interchangeable (it is a very complex and well engineered piece of equipment).
It works great, so I'll just live with it how it is. It just means that I use a few extra coins when playing a few tunes.
I just like things to work as they should.......
Thanks for your time.

Hi Gordon, The SPU and DPU's ARE interchangeable-- Seeburg shipped either when new-- The instructions for "swapping" them are in the I & O manuals, A model kS would have been equipped with the SPU, and the kD --the DPU's Ron Rich

Hi Ron,
Unfortunately my manual does not cover these instructions. I guess its a composite type manual.
However, it looks like I worked it out. It appears to be working well. I will watch it for a while.
It was set for all records to be priced as EP's (15 cents per play). I guess a previous owner was squeezing all the profit possible for this jukebox.
Thanks
Gordon...

Hi Gordon. I hope this is not construed as Thread Hijacking. That certainly wasn't intended, but I couldn't see any other easy way to get in touch :/ It seems I have the same problem as yours, but the other way around. Please see my thread on this board:- jukeboxaddicts.proboards.com/thread/4791/seeburg-kd200-dual-pricing-system?page=1&scrollTo=28732My KD200 (which I bought in a non-working dilapidated state) has a SPU-1 fitted. Since discovering this, I have been looking around for a working DPU-1 module to fit into my machine. Do you still have the DPU-1 and if so, is it surplus to your needs? Would you be interested in selling it (or swapping)? Please contact me via my thread if perhaps we can help each other Kind Regards Brian E.

G'day Brian-E,
Sorry I don't have any spare parts. I bought this jukebox from a guy who bought 2 boxes and made one from the two. I got the leftover box.
It is now working and sounding great. I tried to unsuccessfully add a wallbox, but had a lot of stepper problems. I've been looking for a stepper for years as i don't think mine is repairable. But, very happy with what I have.
Good luck with your project.
Cheers Gordon...
