need preamp schematic R-82 to R-86

Hi,
Have one channel out and the problem lies in the preamp board #6-08552-01 which was in the 125W amp up to R-86

Without a schematic, and with access only to the foil side of the board it is near impossible to trace the signal

I have ordered a DVD that should have the service manual but that is probably a week away from getting here and fixing things is the only thing keeping me sane in this quarantine situation. If you have a scan of that page I would appreciate a copy.

Hi Travis,
I expect that you'll be dis-appointed, in that Service Manual-- Did you read our post on "books--where to --" in the FAQ's section. If so, did you AXK the seller if the pre-amp is covered-- I highly doubt it will be, as Rowe never printed it in those manuals-- One needed to purchase the "Shop Manual", to get that schematic. Sorry, but I ainna gotz no copy either -- Hopefully some nice guy does ?? Ron Rich

Yes, all is fine over here.
Our rules for staying at home will last this week as well for sure. After that we'll see how our government decides: Continuing with our restraining order resp. lockdown in Bavaria (which Bavaria decided for itself) or starting to open very slowly some shops. Also what to do with schools is a discussion - especially for those who would make a degree this spring e.g. for going to a university, completing an apprenticeship or any other kind of training.

I heard that CA continues to tell to stay at home. Which is good.

I am also looking for the Pre-Amp Schematic for an R-85 Board # 6-08552-01. I have did my best to search all posts on this forum and sites outside of here to find this schematic. I have purchased PDF's with the user manuals and schematics for many of the other pre-amps, including my fathers R-81 unit, but no luck in finding the R-85. Perhaps I should ask my wife, she seems to find whatever I'm looking for in the most obvious and previously searched spots at our house .
