I dropped a tool (while restoring) my Seeburg 100 C speaker and put a hole in the cone. Any help in repair or replacing it?

Depending on the size and location of the hole you might have luck using a small amount of glue (or nail polish if the cone material is still attached) and some paper (tissue, coffee filter, toilet paper, something light) to cover the hole. Otherwise you can try to hunt down a replacement speaker or get yours reconed.
The "PARTS" (Used, new) /"BOOKS"/ "REPAIRS"--Where to find !" in the FAQ section has a few people that can recone.

Depending on the damage done-- usually, one can add a bit of that scarce item, "TP", over the rip, after saturating the cone with glue-- I like using model airplane cement-- drill "stop holes" just beyond the edges of the rip-- I use about a #55 drill for this--cover the holes with the same bit of TP--- Ron Rich

How are you Ron? I have taken about 10 years off from my Seeburg hobby. Work has been slow (for obvious reasons) and I have plenty of free time on my hands. I am doing a complete tear off restoration of one of my Seeburg 100C. Your manual still comes in handy.

Unbelievable the mech and amp actually plays. The amp volume is low so it needs to be recapped. Would you recommend that I pay somebody to rebuild the pin bank (if I can find someone). Currently, all 100 selections play successfully. Any thoughts?

Old thread but thought I’d add my 2 cents! I’ve used a piece of a used Bounce dryer sheet and airplane type glue. The sheets are strong and thin and make a nice repair.
