Hello and thanks for accepting me on the forum. I've been working on radios and record player and amp restorations for a few years now. I recently restored my first Juke (DS160) and this SX100 is my second one. The first big challenge to overcome is that the unit is a European juke, setup for 220v/50hz. I have the Service manual and have rewired the amp as per intructions, and the Juke fires up and the mechanism works just like an restored, gummed up mech should. Before I tackle that, I need to get the electronics fixed.
What I need help with are two photos of the wiring of a functioning SX100. the previous owner took wire cutters to the harness and its a mess. I've got most of it back but I need a picture of the 'REJECT Switch' from the inside. I need to see what color wires go to which terminal on the Switch, not the Controller. Also, I'd like to see the wiring to the Transformers/Ballasts that supply juice to the flourescent lights. Should be 2 of them on the right side back, just to the right of where the record rack starts. Thank you so much for any help.

Hi Bass, If that info's not in the service manual, you are just going to nee to "wing it" The reject switch wires connect to the amp and the rear switch, unless one wishes not to use it--makes no difference which color goes where--all your doing is closing a circuit--The ballast wiring is a standard wiring set-up, for the size ( which i do not re-call)of lamp(s) installed. There is 3 terminals on the reject switch, but only 2 ( white/black) are given connection points. I've tried a few things but I can't get the reject switch to have any effect. Yeah, I'll keep screwing with it and I'll problaby figure it out, but if someone has one, life gets that much easier.

Look at the switch--which way does it slide ? Use the center terminal and the one the switch "slides to" for the connections--all that switch does, when used is connect the black and white wires together --Ron Rich
